You may decide at some point to change your site header and colors to give your site a face lift.  Here is how:

Site Header

The header position is at the very top of your site where your name is. You have the option to create a header image for your site and place it in that position just to the right of where your name is.

  1. If you do not create a header, that space will remain blank. Here are the parameters for creating a header
  2. Create a .png image and save it on your computer. The image must be a maximum of pixels 750 wide. A recommended height would be between 50px and 200px.
  3. From the Control Panel in your administration site, click on the Media Manager icon.
  4. Click on the 'Template' folder to open it. Browse for your header.png file. Select it, then click the 'Upload' button. When the upload is complete, go to the frontend of your site and refresh the window. The image will automatically display in the header space of your site.

 

Site Colors

Now decide which colors will best match your header and reflect your organization.

a. From the administration site, go to: Extensions < Template Manager.

b. Click on the template name, 'free color'.

c. From the parameters section, select the color scheme of choice.

Return to the frontend of your site.   Refresh and see your changes.
