Site Header
The header position is at the very top of your site where your name is. You have the option to create a header image for your site and place it in that position. It will appear just to the right of where 'Free Site' is in the illustration below.
If you do not create a header, that space will remain blank. Here are the parameters for creating a header
- Create a .png image and save it on your computer. The image must be a maximum of pixels 750 wide. A recommended height would be between 50px and 200px.
- From the Control Panel in your administration site, click on the Media Manager icon.
- Click on the 'Template' folder to open it.
4. Click on the Browse button to browse your computer files for .png file you created for the header.
5.Select it, then click the 'Upload' button.
6.When the upload is complete, go to the frontend of your site and refresh the window. The image will automatically display in the header space of your site.
Site Colors
Now decide which colors will best match your header and reflect your organization.
a. From the administration site, go to: Extensions < Template Manager.
b. Click on the template name, 'free color'.
c. From the parameters section, select the color scheme of choice.
Proceed to Step 3.
